Before you apply

  • Apply the same day you see it. Most of these close within a week of posting.
  • They will ask why sales and why now. Have a 30 second answer ready before you hit send.
  • Expect a mock close on a real offer. Ask for the pitch deck before the call and practice it out loud twice.
  • A fair closing seat is 10 to 20 percent commission, or a base with an uncapped variable. Ask for the split in writing.
